Berlin-based DJ and producer Sally C has built a distinctive sound rooted in vintage house, hip house, acid and breakbeat, guided by groove and attitude rather than trends. Her approach is direct and playful, with an emphasis on chunky basslines, driving drums and vocal hooks that hit with purpose.
Starting her DJ journey in 2010, she developed a strong sense of independence and community early on, principles that continue to shape her work today. Her Boiler Room appearance in 2019 marked a wider breakthrough, highlighting her broad musical range and confident presence behind the decks.
Through her label Chunkers, Sally C channels her love for late 80s and 90s house into club-ready releases that have become staples on dancefloors. Alongside this, she remains closely connected to the scene as a resident at Refuge Worldwide, supporting new voices through her monthly radio show.
